Obituary - published in Northwest Arkansas Times, Fayetteville, AR, Wednesday,
October 6, 1954, page 11:

Gravette (Special) - Funeral services for Robert E. Brown, 40, who died Sunday
in a Bentonville Hospital, were conducted yesterday afternoon at the Methodist
Church by the Rev. C. H. Harvison. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery under the
direction of Pyeatte's Funeral Home.

Born June 28, 1914, at Fredonia, Kan., Mr. Brown came to Gravette in 1922. He
has been employed at the Gravette Post Office since 1942.

Surviving are two sons, Tony and Stephen; his mother, Mrs. Mary Brown; and four
brothers, Andrew Brown of DeQueen, Lester Brown of Sanger, Calif., A. J. Brown
of Jacksonville, Ill., and Ben Brown of Anacortes, Wash.
