[21920] Richard West, 4th Lord West, 2nd Lord la Warre, son and heir, was born about 28 Oct. 1430. He was married before 10 June 1451 to Katherine Hungerford, daughter of Robert Hungerford, 2nd Lord Hungerford, of Heytesbury, County. Wilts, by Margaret, Lady Botreaux (descendant of King Henry III), daughter of William de Botreaux, 3rd Lord Botreaux, of Boscastle, Cornwall. They had four sons and two daughters. He was summoned to Parliament from 22 Jan. 1455/6 by writs directed Ricardo West militi. He had licence to travel abroad for three years on 1 July 1463. Richard West, Lord Ia Warre, died aged forty-five on 10 Mar. 1475/6. His widow was married for the second time, probably before 1 Nov. 1476, to Nicholas Leventhorpe, Esq., and died on 12 May 1493.
