Will proved;his will lists Ruth, as John's widow, and Elnathan. It also mentions some of his children as being from a first wife.
He was with the Milford, CT people who settled Newark, NJ in1666.
An abstract of John's will is in the book of abstracts of NJ wills. It lists Elnathan and Ruth as John's widow; it also mentions some of his children as being from a first wife. It appears this is when John died in Newark, NJ in 1706, because the will was proved on 31 Aug 1706 and in those days wills were usually proved about 1 to 3 months after death.
Hannah BRUEN was John's first wife, m. Oct. 1663; and Ruth was his second.
There is no marriage date for Ruth or when either wife died.
