Raymond Brubaker, 92, Seville
SEVILLE Raymond E. Brubaker of Seville passed away Feb. 24, 2018. Ray was born Dec. 1, 1925, in Wadsworth to Elam and Sara Brubaker, and was a 1943 graduate of Wadsworth High School.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, and had worked at Seville Elevator. He was owner/operator of Rays Sohio, was a service manager for Ford dealerships, and had his own auto repair business.
Ray enjoyed gardening, fishing and spending time with his family.
Surviving are his loving wife, Betty, of 72 years; children, Elaine (Charles) Bornstein of Lancaster, Pa., and Jim (Christine) Brubaker of Seville; grandsons, Christopher, Matthew and Nathan; and a sister, Mildred (Kenneth) Yoder.
He was preceded in death by siblings, Floyd and Frances Brubaker.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, March 13 at 11:30 a.m. at Seville Presbyterian Church, where friends may call one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Seville Presbyterian Church.
Arrangements are being handled by Armstrong Funeral Home, Seville.
