Waneta J. Hoover, 52, of Rittman died Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at Akron General Medical Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident south of Rittman.
She was born December 16, 1954 in Millersburg to Ralph E. and Phyllis I. (Wengerd) Weaver and lived in Rittman for 31 years. She was a bus driver for Rittman Schools for 7 years and was a member of the Rittman Grace Brethren Church. She enjoyed reading, sewing, bird watching and Elvis concerts. She graduated from West Holmes High School in 1973.
She married Daniel J. Hoover on February 14, 1976 and he survives. Also surviving are her children, Heidi (Scott) Tucker of Wooster, Martin Hoover of Rittman, William Hoover of Rittman and Mary Jane Hoover of Rittman; brothers, Duane (Deb) Weaver of Millersburg, and Dennis (Sue) Weaver of Orrville. A sister, Wilma Sue Weaver, died previously.
Services will be held Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grace Brethren Church, 44 S. First St., Rittman with Pastors Bud Olszewski and Bret Deffenbaugh officiating. Burial will be at Rittman Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 P.M. on Friday at Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman and 1 hour before services at the church on Saturday.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital, Rehabilitation Department, 195 Wadsworth Rd., Wadsworth, OH 44281
