Frederick (Fred) Landis, age 72, of Sandusky died Saturday, May 12, 2012.
He was born December 25, 1939 in Rittman, Ohio to Frances O. (Brickel) Landis and the late Owen Landis.
Fred was employed as a salesman at Foster Chevrolet for 26 years. He was a member of Sts. Peter Paul Catholic Church in Sandusky. Fred enjoyed working in his yard, and gardening but his true love was fishing.
Fred is survived by his wife and soul mate of 35 years, Ruthanne (Granentini) Landis of Sandusky; three brothers, James (Kimberly) Landis of Portland, OR, Roger Landis of Canal Fulton, OH, and Ronald (Jackie) Landis of Sandusky, OH.
Including his father, Fred was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn (Landis) Moody.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
