Ang, a Calvert descendantmang@juno.com. indicates that the mother os Sir George as "Alicia,daughter and heiress of John Crosland of Crosland." Maryland HistoricalMagazine II, page 369. Chances are that she had no brothers or sistersalive to inherit from John Crosland.
