Stirnet.com note:
BP1934 (Montrose) and TSP (Montrose) disagree here as BP1934 inserts an additional generation of a Sir David of Dundaff (which we follow) and shows that David as husband of Annabella of Strathearn whom TSP shows as wife of SIr Patrick of Kincardine. There is therefore some difference in allocation of children, the most 'important' one possibly being the John who became Earl of Menteith.

Louis V, by name Louis le Faineant (Louis the Do-Nothing) (b.967 - d. May21/22, 987), king of France and the last Carolingian monarch.
Crowned on June 8, 979, while his father Lothair was still alive, he shortly afterward married Adelaide, widow of an Aquitainian count, andwas established asking in Aquitaine. His friviolity, however, and hisrejection of his wife, who finally ran away, brought him into discredit.Sole king on his father's deathin986, he disregarded the advice of hismother, Queen Emma, and Archbishop Adalbero of Reims, who wanted him toseek friendship with the German king Otto III. Just as he was about tohave the Archbishop tried for treason, Louis died as the result of ahunting accident. His unpopular uncle Charles of Lower Lorraine, theonly surviving member of the Carlingian dynasty, was passed over infavour of Hugh Capet as Louis' successor, thus initiating the Capetianline of French monarchs.
