In Butler County, Kentucky, on the 24th of January, 1818, William Ashmore, Elisha Hadden, and John Wilson were the witnesses for the will of William Hadden.
According to the declaration of Elisha Hadden in his pension file, he states that he was 73 since the 28th day af July past (1759), born in York County, Pennsylvania; this declaration was given in Coles County, Illinois before the circuit judge on May 6, 1833.
