[21884] Abigail, fourth daughter of Richard Rice named in her father's will as living in 1708, d. before him in Concord 16 April 1709; m. before 1670. Dr.Philip Reade, d. without probate at an unknown date. The Concord Vital Records give the date of his death as 10 May 1696, but this would appearto be certainly some years too late. Middlesex Deeds, vol. -,p. 359, contain a deed in which Abigail Read, widow of Philip, deceased, and Jacob and Philip Read, sons, all of Concord, conveyed property belonging to Dr. Philip Read, deceased, to Samuel Hartwell, and the date of this conveyance is 4 Jan. 1693
